"A university ceases to be true to its own nature if it becomes the tool of church or state or any sectional interest... Dogma and hypothesis are incompatible... "

OUR STORY

Dreams into Reality

Haley and I started this non-profit to be a platform for change, first within, and then without. Let me explain:

Neither Haley or I graduated from a university, but found success starting our own businesses. (School would have hardly prepared us for the challenges in being an entrepreneur.) Though our journey led us to the actualization of what one might call the "American Dream," we found that our dream careers led us to – quite literally –sitting in front of a computer all day.

When we realized spending time with our neighbor Stephie and her kids and helping our community brought us the greatest happiness, we knew we had to make this a reality. We imagined Lionheart as a saving grace at a very difficult point in our lives.

Lionheart's goal is to be able to make a difference in children's lives and the community around us, even when we're not around, and we're very excited to be stepping into this new journey – hopefully, with you!

Our Core Values

These four ideas represent the pillars that build our programs and missions

Authenticity

To us, it means speaking from the heart. It means building genuine relationships and maintaining integrity in all actions. It is crucial as it encourages individuals to embrace their uniqueness and fosters a culture of respect and acceptance.

Independent Thinking

It's about fostering creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking in children. We want to encourage the development of unique ideas and perspectives, empowering children to confidently navigate through life's challenges.

Kids are Capable

We want to champion the potential that lies within each child. By empowering them, bolstering their self-confidence, and nurturing a robust can-do spirit, we set the stage for them to astonish us all with what they can truly achieve.

Strong Community Ecosystem

This value signifies the importance of cooperation, mutual support, and collective growth and is the bedrock of any successful social initiative.

Meet the Team

At Lionheart, we're not just educators and innovators, but also parents and community enthusiasts who are committed to supporting children's learning and growth. You're not just choosing an educational program, you're becoming part of our community.
